Education System

Ontatio high school graduates are awarded with the OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma) To graduate, students must complete at least 30 high school credits from grades 9-12. Students must also complete a minimum of 40 hours of volunteer service.

Futhermore, students wishing to enter University must complete a minimum of 6 Grade 12 University Level Credits.

Students whose first language is not English must complete ESL programs with respect to the student's English abilities. Students must also complete the TOEFL test to apply for Universities. Universities will provide the minimum TOEFL score which students must obtain.

All courses offered in International Academic School of Canada are developed according to the requirements of the Ontario Ministry of Education.
